Penang Hill / Bukit Bendera (升旗山)

Bukit Bendera (升旗山) is the hill behind Air Itam. Penang Hill Corporation runs the funicular. Official tickets page: service 06:30–23:00 every day, last trip up 22:00, last trip down 23:00, about every 30 minutes with extras when busy. Buy two-way tickets at sales.penanghill.gov.my. MyKad / MyKid / MM2H / i-Kad adult round trip RM16 normal lane, RM40 express. Children 4–12 RM8 / RM20. Seniors 60+ RM8 both lanes. Standard (no MyKad) adult RM40 / RM80. Sunrise rate RM6 round trip for people who live, work, or study in Malaysia, counter only at the lower station 06:15–08:00, not on public holidays, festive seasons, school holidays, or peak periods. Monthly MyKad pass RM40. Differently abled free. Habitat Penang Hill is a separate rainforest ticket at the top (09:00–21:00, last 18:30). Hiking trails have their own PHC page.
