The Habitat Penang Hill

The Habitat Penang Hill is the paid rainforest park at the top of Bukit Bendera, inside the UNESCO Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve. Flagstaff Holdings runs it. Official terms: daily 09:00–21:00, last entry 18:30. That last-entry time is for the evening walk. A Standard Entrance Pass is daytime. The park page splits it as 09:00–17:30, exit by 19:00. After 17:30 you buy an Evening Walk add-on, RM18 a person, last entry 18:30, out by 21:00. Children 3 and under are free with ID. Under-12s need an adult. Book on book.thehabitat.my. Daytime adult prices move. The booking page showed from RM54 when you buy seven days ahead. Walk-up is higher. The funicular is a separate Penang Hill Corporation ticket from Air Itam. Do not assume Habitat includes the train. The walk is 1.6 km. Langur Way is the double-span canopy bridge. Curtis Crest is the high deck. Mini guided walks are walk-in 09:00–16:30, RM18. Habitat Café 09:30–17:00, last call 16:30. The Stable Café 09:00–17:00. Gift shop 09:30–17:30. Train shutdowns close the park. Check the Habitat site the morning you go. This is an attraction on the hill, not a mall, and not the funicular itself.
