Taman Botani Pulau Pinang (Kebun Bunga, the old Waterfall Gardens) is the valley park on Jalan Kebun Bunga. Jabatan Taman Botani sits in the Pavilion: 604-226 4401 general, botani@penang.gov.my. Locals run here from about 05:00. Listings commonly close the grounds at 20:00. Office hours are shorter. This is Saturday with kids, not a ticketed attraction. Taman Bandaraya (the old Taman Belia, 1972, MBPP) is the neighbouring town park. Moon Gate is a hike toward the hill. Do not feed the macaques. This is an attraction, not a mall.
